Arrive in the U.S. to claim luggage, go through customs, and travel within the U.S

Many major international airports in the United States have multiple terminals. Some airlines have dedicated terminals, while other airlines share terminals.

Unlike many other countries, luggage trolleys are usually not free in the United States. The price of each pp luggage trolley is usually US$2 to US$4. ATMs can accept $1 or $5 bills and 25-cent coins. If you buy small denominations of U.S. dollars before you go to the United States, you can use them. Otherwise, try to find a way to change some change.

There are luggage conveyor belts in most international airports. You can find your conveyor belt number by checking the TV information screen or asking the service desk staff. After knowing your conveyor belt number, follow the instructions and walk to your proper waiting position. Sometimes, police dogs will sniff out your luggage before you.

You take your luggage and walk to the customs clearance area. There will be signs to remind you.

If you find that your luggage is missing after checking the entire luggage carousel, please contact the airline’s luggage loss office. They have photos of all kinds of luggage, which can help you identify your lost luggage. Be sure to submit a report to them before leaving the airport and bring the receipt. In addition, write down the name and contact information of the person you are talking to.

If your luggage is damaged, you can follow the airline’s office’s procedures for handling similar incidents.

You may be eligible for compensation for lost or damaged luggage.
